Gloss Spray 100ML CLEAR

I had high expectations for this spray as I was going to use it to seal my fondant teacup and saucer but unfortunately it was a fizzer. My 1st attempt at using the spray only produced fresh air (yes, I shook the living daylights out of the can before use as per directions) , it intermittently sprayed clear spray, followed by sputters of clogged "gunk". I took it back to the shop, they were very helpful and said it was clogged, cleared the nozzle and it sprayed clear spray again. Took it home, shook it vigorously but again it only sprayed clear gloss for 3 seconds before spraying dried up bits of clogged "gunk". I cleared the nozzle about 3 times between sprays (using boiling water) but in the end had to give up as it continued to splutter gloss filled with flecks of dried bits. I am assuming it was a faulty can, however I am disappointed, the gloss spray cost me $22, I won't be using this product again. FYI: I am not a novice cake maker, I've been making cakes for 15 years, so not new to the world of edible cake sprays and paints. I gave an overall rating of 3 stars because the service from the shop I bought this from is excellent.
